Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 19 – The Phnom Penh Capital Hall, on Monday, declared “Red Zones” in Phnom Penh’s Meanchey, Por Senchey and Toul Kork districts.
The "Red Zone" was named to identify an area with a severe COVID19 pandemic, according to the announcement seen by Fresh News earlier this evening.
The “Red Zone” districts include:
1. Sangkat Steung Meanchey I, II, III of Steung Meachey district.
2. Sangkat Choam Chao I of Por Senchey district
3. Village No. 14, No. 16, No. 17 of Sangkat Boeung Salang, Toul Kork district.
All individuals in a Red Zone are prohibited from leaving their home even for sports activities.
Markets and grocery stores as well as businesseses in the Red Zones shall be temporarily suspended, except for the public services.
