Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 17 – A 67-year-old Cambodian man living in Sihanoukville died of COVID19 on 16 April 2021, according to the Ministry of Health's announcement dated Saturday.

The man was tested positive of COVID19 on 14 April 2021.

"The patient passed away at 6:50 p.m due to severe lung disease and respiratory crisis attacked by COVID19," the ministry confirmed.

To date, Cambodia has registered 39 cases of COVID19 fatality.
