Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 17 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen has issued a stricter order, regarding the closure of Phnom Penh and Kandal Province, addressing a special message on Friday evening.

Premier Hun Sen ordered authorities to implement the strictest measures to ensure people in the capital Phnom Penh and Kandal’s Ta Khmao city stay at home for 14 days without any moves.

The Royal Government of Cambodia has temporarily suspended the areas of Phnom Penh and Ta Khmao city, starting from 12 am of 15 April to 28 April 2021, in order the curb the spread of COVID19. Having observed people still moving around, the premier today issued a stricter order «stay at home for 14 days.»

«I order that no one leaves and enters Phnom Penh and Ta Khmao,» the premier stated.
