Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 14 – Cambodia reported 178 new cases of COVID19, while 38 patients recovered on Wednesday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 14 April 2021 (updated as of 11:00 a.m).
The newly infected patient is a 47-year-old Cambodian migrant worker returning from Thailand to Cambodia on 12 April 2021.
The other 177 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are Cambodian, Vietnamese and Chinese nationals from Kampong Speu, Takeo, Sihanoukville, Tbong Khmum, Siem Reap, Kandal, Svay Rieng, and Phnom Penh.
To date, Cambodia has confirmed 4874 cases of COVID19 with 2290 recoveries and 35 deaths.
