Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 11 – Cambodian government has determined that COVID19 vaccine is obligatory for government officials and armed forces, according to the sub-decree seen by Fresh News on Sunday.

Below are those who are obliged to get jab:

1. Public servants and armed forces in the executive branch.

2. Elected citizens to serve the public and public servants in the legislative branch.

3. Judges, prosecutors, and public officials in the judicial branch.

Other certain individuals are also obliged to be vaccinated based on their employment status as determined by the Ministry of Health.

The sub-decree does not apply to individuals who are unable to vaccinate due to health reasons certified by the health officials.

Types of vaccines and the vaccination procedures shall follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.
