Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 1 — Since COVID19 hit the global scene, the Royal Group had adapted to the new normal - swiftly moving to online platform for meetings and communications and encourage non-essential team to work from home. It is paramount in keeping the team members and their families safe and healthy.

However, with growing concerns and the rise in cases, as part of the Group CSR initiative, Royal Group took a step further in planning to provide safe vaccination for the close to 3,000 employees who volunteered for vaccination.

Approved by Premier Hun Sen and in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, the Royal Group Vaccination Program will take place at Hotel Cambodiana and aim to inoculate about 1,200 employees per day.

“I am grateful for the approval and support of Prime Minister Hun Sen and the strong collaboration with the Ministry of Health in the fight against COVID19. On 31 March, H.E. Or Vandine inspected our Royal Group Vaccination Center and shared helpful tips on how to curb the spread of the virus. Part of the measures to community health & safety is to expedite the safe vaccination of the people. By facilitating the inoculation program for our group of employees, we are contributing to the bigger goal” stated Neak Oknha Kith Meng.
