Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 31 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen wrote a letter on Wednesday expressing his deepest gratitude to Cambodian His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni for his USD USD 200,000 donation to support the process of organizing «Nokor Tep» Hospital, later renamed to Queen Mother Hospital.
Apart from the donation, His Majesty wrote in a royal letter, praising Prime Minister Hun Sen’s wise leadership in maintaining the Kingdom’s peace, social stability and national development.
The Royal Government of Cambodia announced on 27 March 2021 to use the national budget to purchase «Nokor Tep» hospital and rename it to Queen Mother Hospital.
The hospital, located in Phnom Penh’s Dangkor district, was built in 2011 under «Nokor Tep» donation. The hospital is used to treat COVID19 patients, effective from 27 March 2021.
