Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 18 – Cambodia reported 36 new cases of COVID19, while 58 patients recovered on Thursday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 18 March 2021 (updated as of 9:30 a.m).

The newly infected patient is a 53-year-old Filipino woman returning from the Philippines to Cambodia on 3 March 2021.

The other 35 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are Cambodian, Vietnam and American nationals from Kandal and Phnom Penh aged between 17 and 74 years old.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 1541 cases of COVID19 with 898 recoveries and one death.
