Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 12 – Cambodia reported 62 new cases of COVID19, while 22 patients recovered on Friday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 12 March 2021 (updated as of 9:00 p.m).
The two newly infected patients are a 24-year-old and a 27-year-old Indonesian men returning from Indonesia to Cambodia on 26 February 2021.
The other 60 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are Cambodian, Chinese and Vietnamese nationals from Sihanoukville, Kandal, Kampong Thom, Prey Veng, Koh Kong and Phnom Penh aged between one year old and 76 years old.
To date, Cambodia has confirmed 1,225 cases of COVID19 with 619 recoveries and one death.
