Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 1 – Phnom Penh-based NagaWorld Casino has decided to temporarily suspend its operations after 11 cases of COVID19 detected on their staff and guests, according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Monday.
A statement from the company said that about 3,000 employees of the company had been tested for COVID19. Health officials at the Ministry of Health confirmed that 11 people were tested positive.
“The company is acting responsibly and swiftly to volunteer to temporarily suspend its business for a more thorough review of its precautionary and preventive measures already undertaken while running in parallel a wholesome cleansing of the entire property to further protect all of its employees and visitors alike,” the statement said.
“The company intends to open for business after achieving some milestones of success in the fight and prevention for COVID-19 after consultation with the MoH,” it added.
