Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 23 – Cambodian Ministry of Health, on Tuesday, detected at least 47 locations involved in the "February 20” community event, some of which have been temporarily closed. Contacted people have been sent to test for COVID19 and enforce 14-day quarantine.
The Ministry of Health called on citizens to practice preventive health measures set out by the ministry, including washing hands, wearing masks, and practicing social distancing.
Cambodia reported 32 cases of COVID19 in a community transmission detected on 20 February 2021, which started at N8 Club in Phnom Penh. As of 23 February, the number rose to 99 cases.
To date, Cambodia has confirmed 593 cases of COVID19 with 475 recoveries and no death.
