Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 22 — Ministry of Health of Cambodia has set up Koh Pich Community Hall as “COVID19 Testing Site” for the Chinese people involved in February 20 community event, Health Ministry’s Secretary of State Youk Sambath told Fresh News on Monday.
Sambath said that at Koh Pich Community Hall, health officials will work from 8 a.m to 5 p.m to take samples from all the Chinese people involved in the February 20 community event and other Chinese suspected.
Cambodia reported 32 cases of COVID19 in a community transmission detected on 20 February 2021, which started at N8 Club in Phnom Penh. As of 22 February, the number rose to 76 cases.
To date, Cambodia has confirmed 568 cases of COVID19 with 475 recoveries and no death.
