Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 28 – Digital Data Governance (DDG) plays a critical role in providing secure and safe data flow through the development and enhancement of information security, data protection and privacy, the verification and authentication of digital identification, as well as inter-operationality. The article examines the development and progress of digital data governance in Cambodia. It suggests that Cambodia needs to enhance policy coordination and institutional synergies among key government agencies, enhance legal frameworks, invest more in human capital development, strengthen public-private partnership, and support local enterprises.
