(Phnom Penh): Dec. 3 – Cambodia reported two new cases of COVID19 from the “Community 28 November" event, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 3 December 2020 (updated as of 7:00 a.m).
The two newly infected patients are the 23-year-old and 21-year-old women, who are siblings. The former has a husband working at the Ministry of Interior. The latter works at a bank in Phnom Penh.
The government has decided to close that bank and that all the bank staffs must test for COVID19 and enforce quarantine.
As of December 2, at least 8,766 people from seven provinces are considered involving in the event. As a result 19 were tested positive for COVID19.
To date, Cambodia has confirmed 331 cases of COVID19 with 304 recoveries and no death.
