Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 30 – Cambodia reported one new case of Covid-19, while eight patients recovered on Thursday, according to the Ministry of Health’s press release dated 30 July 2020 (updated as of 8:00 a.m).

The newly infected is an American senior diplomat who returned from the United States to Cambodia and tested positive on 29 July 2020. The patient is being diagnosed by American doctors at the US Embassy in Phnom Penh.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 234 cases of Covid-19. So far, 162 have recovered.
