Geneva (FN), Jul. 3 – Cambodia released the Right of Reply Intervention by Ambassador and Permanent Representative Sokkhoeurn An in response to the remarks by the delegation of Belgium and Switzerland at the 44th Session of the Human Rights Council on 2 July 2020, Geneva.

“It is with deep disappointment that both delegations purposefully overlooked and underreported Cambodia’s human rights-integrated responses to the Covid-19, let alone our humanitarian consent given to the stranded Westerdam Cruise Ship carrying their respective nationals on board to dock after being turned away by several countries, and free treatment of Covid-19 offered to one Belgian citizen”.
