Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 17 – Cambodian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn will participate in the High-level Video Conference on Belt and Road International Cooperation: Combating Covid-19 with Solidarity, to be held on 18 June 2020 at 19:00.

This meeting has been initiated by the People’s Republic China, and will be chaired by His Excellency State Councilor Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of China.

According to the ministry's press release dated Wednesday, participants of this conference include the Foreign Ministers from around 20 Belt and Road Cooperation partner countries, the Director-General of the World Health Organization and high-level representatives from the United Nations.
 
"The meeting aims to strengthen mutual support and commitment to intensify efforts through regional and international mechanism in controlling and overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic, promoting connectivity and post COVID-19 socio-economic recovery, as well as further deepening the Belt and Road practical cooperation."
