Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 16 – Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to Cambodia Ermenegildo Kupa Lopes paid a courtesy call on Cambodian Justice Minister Keurt Rith on Tuesday.

Both sides discussed ways to strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation on investment and justice. They also exchanged views and experience of the two countries in the context of history, economy and the judiciary, especially with regards to law enforcement and rehabilitation.

The ambassador also commends Prime Minister Hun Sen’s leadership in achieving national reconciliation and remarkable economic growth. He also thanked the Royal Government of Cambodia for supporting Timor-Leste in becoming the 11th member state of the ASEAN.
