Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 16 – The Royal Government of Cambodia has reserved approximately USD 1 billion to address Covid-19 crisis and for economic recovery.

Spokesperson for the Economy and Finance Ministry Meas Sok Sensan on 15 June 2020 addressed during the official launching of business registration online.

"Right now, we reserved around USD 1 billion... it will be allocated to pay workers [affected by factory suspensions and for tax breaks announced for tourism businesses] and soon reaches the vulnerable group,” he said.
