Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 11 – Minister in charge of the Secretariat of Civil Aviation Mao Havannal on Thursday presented Air Operator’s Certificates (AOC) to Prince International Airlines with Ms. Yifei Jiang as chair of the board.
According to SCCA, prior to the approval of AOC, the company has to meet the five-stage technical requirements which are strictly monitored by the civil aviation officials in accordance with Cambodian regulations to ensure the operation is safe both locally and internationally.
Currently, Cambodia has seven airlines, including Cambodia Angkor Air, Sky Angkor Airlines, Bassaka Air, JC (Cambodia) International Airlines, Lanmei Airlines, Cambodia Airways, and Prince International Airlines, with two helicopter companies: Helicopter Cambodia and Helistar Cambodia.
Sin Chan Sereyvutha, spokesperson of SSCA told Fresh News that Prince International Airlines has helicopter for private usage and leasing, and plan to purchase a private jet for commercial use and leasing.
