Phnom Penh (FN), May 19 – US Ambassador to Cambodia W. Patrick Murphy told Cambodian Minister in Charge of Civil Aviation Mao Havannall that the United States wants to see Cambodia use Boeing aircraft.
The statement was made Tuesday during a courtesy call on and discussion on strengthening Cambodia-US future cooperation.
According to the Secretariat of Civil Aviation, the discussion today covered (1) the evolution of the Kingdom's civil aviation sector, especially during Covid-19, (2) international airport construction, (3) the use of Boeings in Cambodia, (4) ratification on the implementation of Cape Town Convention for the benefits of air leasing, and (5) Cambodia-US aviation agreement.
