Phnom Penh (FN), May 16 – A group of 44 students from American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP), who has been enrolled in a dual degree program, were honored and delighted to have successfully completed their classes under American-standardized curriculum of the University of Arizona, the United States.

The University of Arizona, an AUPP’s partnered university and one of the most prestigious universities in the United States, was very proud to host this year’s virtual celebration, which has been designed in a spirit of pride for the graduates and anticipation for the next chapter in their lives.

“This end of the academic year is a long-awaited milestone for our thousands of graduates who have spent the past several years studying, forming deep friendships and charting courses for successful careers and lifelong learning. Regardless of the circumstances, this annual celebration of our students’ achievements remains a high point for me and for our entire Wildcat family. I know I will never forget the Class of 2020, and neither will the faculty, staff and fellow students who have been a part of the graduates’ journeys”, Robert C. Robbins, President of The University of Arizona wrote in an email.

AUPP is the only university in Cambodia that offers students the option to earn fully accredited U.S. degrees; one of which is from AUPP and the other from one of AUPP’s U.S. partner universities; the University of Arizona (UA) or Fort Hays State University (FHSU).

AUPP offers a wide range of majors to students, including Business, Law, Civil Engineering, Information Technology Management, Tourism Management and Hospitality, Architecture, and Global Affairs.
