Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 27 — Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said Monday that the government has decided to allow 200 workers who are staying in Malaysia to repatriate if Malaysian authorities confirm they are tested negative of Covid-19.
Prime Minister Hun Sen wrote on Facebook: "To date, Cambodia and the world are actively fighting the disease and so far, the world has yet found vaccine for the deadly virus Covid-19.”
“We thank the 200 workers, including 73 convicted persons, who were recently suspended from returning from Cambodia. Now the bans are lifted and you all can repatriate. However, please allow the Malaysian authorities confirm that all of you tested negative of Covid-19,” he continued.
