Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 7 – Cambodian Health Minister Mam Bun Heng confirmed Saturday that Cambodia has a new case of Covid-19, found on a 38-year-old Cambodian man.
The minister said at the press conference on Saturday evening at the Ministry of Health.
The new case was found after the Ministry of Health quarantined four people in Siem Reap province who had been in contacts with the Japanese man infected with Covid-19. The other three were tested negative.
On 4 March, a Japanese man at his 40s was tested positive with Covid-19 up on arrival in Japan after taking flight from Siem Reap province in Cambodia via Vietnam, reported Kyodo News.
