Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 3 – Cambodian Ministry of Interior‘s Immigration Department has blacklisted a Singaporean national Cheah Fah Loong from entering the Kingdom following his insults on Cambodian Royal Ballet Dance, a senior official told Fresh News on Tuesday.

The decision was made following the order of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.

“As the head of the Royal Government, I cannot accept the insult on the Royal Ballet Dance, a legacy left behind by Cambodian ancestors. Today, I order the Ministry of Interior’s Immigration Department to ban this person from entering Cambodia’s territory,” the premier addressed on 3 March at the national culture day held at Koh Pich Phnom Penh.

The premier said he would consider lifting the ban if Cheah Fah Loong apologises.
