Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 28 – Cambodia’s Minister of Health told Fresh News CEO on 28 January 2020 that no serious evolution on a Chinese man with coronavirus.

Minister Mam Bunheng said the patient’s status is normal without serious evolution, while the team put serious efforts to monitor him.

Jia Jianhua, 60, was travelling with three other members of his family from China’s Wuhan to Cambodia through Sihanoukville airport; yet, only him found positive of coronavirus.

Jianhua and his family arrived Sihanoukville on 23 January; the symptom appeared on 25 January. Result from Pasteur Institute in Cambodia’s laboratory, released on 27 January, indicated that Jinjau is positive with coronavirus (2019-nCoV).

According to the Ministry of Health, the patient was separated from the public.

The ministry has informed the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, saying that the patient has to be recovered before releasing.
