Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 11 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen strongly denounced the allegations made by the oppositions, accusing the Royal Government of oppressing right to freedom of press following the arrests of reporters of Radio Free Asia (RFA).

Addressing Wednesday at the graduation ceremony, the premier stressed that the measures taken were not related to journalism but pornographic videos.

“This reporter is worst than the brute; he asked his wife to have sex with foreigner and film it. Besides, he also has affairs with another man’s wife in Kampot province,” the premier said before 7,000 graduates.

Prime Minister advised Keo Remy, president of Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), to explain the government’s measures to foreign diplomats and show them the pornographic videos filmed by RFA reporters.

With solid evidence, the kingdom respects the rule of law and does not violate the right to freedom of the press and expression, as accused by the oppositions or other groups who lack of knowledge on Cambodian laws.
