Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 7 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen announced that former opposition leader Sam Rainsy not only wants to topple the government, but also to dissolve the current regime – Constitutional Monarchy.

The announcement was made Monday in a meeting with A graders, held at the Peace Palace.

“Insulting His Majesty King and urging King to abdicate are not normal things; Rainsy’s goals are not only to eliminate Hun Sen but also His Majesty King,” said the premier.

“Their specific goal does not focus on changing Hun Sen, but changing the constitutional monarchy regime; hence, such coup could not be tolerated,” the Strongman underlined.

The premier warned that those who involved in the plot to topple the government must not think the government is violating their rights.

“You pass the red line; you must be sentenced intolerably,” he warned, while urging Minister of National Defense Tea Banh to eliminate rebel Sam Rainsy, as it is the duty of the armed forces.
