Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 24 – This year, 2019, marks the 26th anniversary of the promulgation of the Constitution of Cambodia.

Prime Minister Hun Sen wrote Tuesday on his Facebook that the Constitution is the supreme law of Cambodia and that all the laws and decisions of the state institutions must be in conformity with the Constitution.

“The most important points stated in the Constitution include: absolute respect of the constitutional monarchy and liberal multi-party democracy; Cambodian Constitution has stipulated clearly the principle of balance of power among the legislative, executive and judicial branches, as well as fundamental rights of people and the rule of law.
