Beijing (FN), Aug. 21 - Media delegation from Cambodia, headed by Fresh News CEO Lim Chea Vutha, and other 12 countries including Canada, Indonesia, Iran, Germany, Kenya, South Korea, Myanmar, Pakistan, Russia, Serbia, Thailand, and Turkey visited the city of Summer and Winter Olympics with the theme “Look forward to 2022 Olympic Winter Games,” held in Beijing on Wednesday.

The city of Summer and Winter Olympics is one of the agenda of “China Now: Silk Road Rediscovery Tour of Beijing, Upon the 70th Anniversary of the PRC," organized by Beijing Information Office and CRI Online to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China.

The delegations have visited Beijing Organising Committee for the Olympic Games; Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Exhibition Center; Winter Olympics Park; the National Speed Skating Hall; Beijing National Stadium —"Bird's
Nest; and Beijing Olympic Tower and Park.

“Among the places I visited today, I am most interested in the Olympic Tower. This tower is 246 meters high, where I can see the whole Beijing. It is interesting and inspiring,” said Lim Chea Vutha, CEO of Fresh News.

“I have also learnt many things about the preparations of Olympic Games. I have witnessed the process of building sport facilities, training programs, the innovation in transforming Beijing to a sustainable city. I expect that these are good preparations and that as the host of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2022, the Government of China will achieve a fruitful result and particularly the Chinese athletes will win many medals,” he added.
