Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 17 – Kim Santepheap, spokesman of the Ministry of Justice, warned Saturday morning that authorities would arrest convict Sam Rainsy anytime even on Cambodia’s Independence Day, 9 November 2019 - a public holiday celebrated annually.

The statement was made after Sam Rainsy announced on 16 August 2019 his repatriation to Cambodia on 9 November 2019.

National Police Commissioner Neth Savoeun stressed that as a law enforcement agent, the national police will take all necessary measures to hunt and arrest the convict for further legal actions.
