Phnom Penh (FN), July 26 – Cambodian Honorary Consulate in Sendai has officially inaugurated on Friday, 26 July 2019, having Susumu Tai, Japanese, as the honorary consul.
Honorary consul Susumu Tai pledged to mobilize Japanese investors to the Kingdom of Cambodia, particularly to Poipet, a boomtown of far northwest Cambodia’s Banteay Meanchey province bordering Thailand.
The Royal Embassy of Cambodia sits at Tokyo, headed by H.E. Mr. Ung Rachana, Ambassador Extraordinary, and Plenipotentiary. Besides, Cambodia has five Honorary Consulates in Japan, include Sapporo, Sendai, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
