Phnom Penh (FN), July 1 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen urged authority to take care of orphanages who lost parents in the collapse building in Sihanoukville province on 22 June 2019.
The statement was made Monday, 1 July, at the meeting with members and staff of Krousar Thmey Foundation in Phnom Penh, the first Cambodian Foundation helping disadvantaged children.
“We have to take care of the children who lost their parents, ensuring that they receive education,” the premier addressed.
“For the juveniles, authority has to keep eyes on them to ensure they are on the right track to bright future. For the adults, they can use the money [funded by donors] as they wish.”
