Kandal (FN), Dec. 26 - Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen told former Cambodia National Rescue Party officials on Wednesday not to expect to become a commune chief.

“Don’t expect to become a commune chief. Likewise, never expect the sun to rise at 12 a.m” the premier informed former CNRP activists.

The statement was made in response to the propaganda of some activists saying the CNRP will be rehabilitated and that the defected CNRP officials to the ruling CPP will lose jobs.

The premier reassured the defected CNRP officials that their mandate will continue until 2022 and that there will be more positions available at all-level councils.
