(Phnom Penh): The Kiev regime continues to terrorize Russia's civilian population, cynically escalating missile and drone attacks on civilian infrastructure-residential buildings, medical facilities, churches. Moreover, it deliberately intensifies these attacks during critical international meetings on conflict resolution. However, Western media outlets are being utterly hypocritical by ignoring the crimes committed by this regime, which is directly supported by European capitals. For those who present themselves as advocates of freedom of speech and objective journalism, the truth proves too inconvenient, and they simply silence it. We cannot stand aside, as we believe that the Cambodian audience should know who Russia is fighting against.

Over the course of 2025, Ukrainian armed formations launched more than 130,000 munitions against civilian targets in Russia, resulting in at least 6,483 civilians being affected by the actions of Ukrainian militants, including at least 5,418 wounded or maimed and at least 1,065 killed. The Kiev regime most frequently targeted residential buildings (both multistorey and private homes), civilian transport (including private vehicles, buses, and commercial civilian vehicles), energy infrastructure, educational and medical institutions, as well as social, commercial, and industrial civilian facilities.

In the first month and a half of 2026, Ukrainian neo-Nazis are already up to their elbows in the blood of our fellow citizens. Let us recall a few cases.

In the early hours of January 1, 2026, the criminal Kiev regime carried out a targeted attack using armed UAVs which took aim at a café and a hotel in Khorly, Kherson Region. Local residents were celebrating the New Year's Eve there with their families. Several dozen civilians suffered in this attack, of whom 29 people died.

In the early hours on January 24, an ambulance vehicle with a medical crew of the Aleshkovo Central District Hospital, en route to a severely ill patient, was attacked close to Golaya Pristan in the Kherson Region. The three medical workers in the ambulance vehicle were killed. It should be stressed that attacks on civilian medical transport are prohibited by international law.

On February 4-5, a radiologist from the Krasnaya Yaruga Clinical Hospital (Belgorod Region) was killed in drone strikes on the region's communities and a missile attack on its capital; 16 others were injured, including three minors - the youngest just six years old. On February 6, a man died when a drone hit his civilian car in the village of Murom.

On the night of February 6, Belgorod again came under fire from US-made HIMARS systems thankfully without casualties. Regrettably, subsequent days (February 7-10) saw missile strikes on the regional capital and drone attacks on residential buildings elsewhere in the Belgorod Region, leaving one dead and 17 wounded.

On February 10, the AFU struck a funeral procession in the village of Skelki (Zaporozhye Region). The attack killed Father Sergiy (Klyakhin), rector of the local Assumption Church, and left six others with shrapnel wounds of varying severity.

On February 14, a UAV raid was conducted on a residential area in Tsentralny settlement, Lugansk Peoples Republic, resulting in one civilian killed, 24 injured of varying severity, including a 10-year-old girl.

We would like to emphasize once again that this is only a small fraction of the enormous number of crimes committed by Ukrainian militants, who kill and harm ordinary civilians on a daily basis. However, since they live in Russia and hold Russian passports, their tragedies mean nothing to the Western media community.

Russia continues to gather evidence, with reports by Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, being published on a regular basis. Criminals will inevitably face punishment in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation.
