(Phnom Penh): Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wenbin praised Cambodia for its significant contribution to United Nations peacekeeping operations.

The ambassador wrote on his social media on 18 August 2025.

“I have tremendous respect for Cambodia for deploying a total of 9,199 peacekeepers to several countries. Cambodia is ranked 27th out of 119 countries that have sacrificed forces to go on overseas missions and stands third among ASEAN nations.”
