(Tokyo): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet received a courtesy call by Yoshihisa Kainuma, President and CEO of MinebeaMitsumi Inc., on 28 May 2025 during his official working visit to Tokyo, Japan, from 28-31 May 2025.

During the meeting, Kainuma expressed his gratitude to Samdech Thipadei for the opportunity to pay a courtesy call and conveyed his sincere appreciation to the Royal Government of Cambodia for its continued support of Minebea (Cambodia)’s operations and development.

Kainuma briefed Samdech Thipadei on the company’s ongoing expansion in Cambodia, noting that Minebea currently provides over 2,000 job opportunities and plans to recruit more workers in the near future.

He also reported on the construction progress of a new factory, which is expected to be completed by the end of this year. He emphasised that Cambodia remains one of the most favourable destinations for investment.

In response, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet warmly welcomed the opportunity to meet Kainuma and his team once again. The prime minister highly valued the company’s growth and continued expansion in Cambodia.

The premier remarked that the company’s success not only reflects its achievements but also contributes significantly to job creation and the improvement of Cambodian livelihoods.

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting investors and maintaining an attractive and competitive investment environment in Cambodia.
