Yunnan (FN), Nov. 7 – Chinese companies, Ju Wang Footwear Co., Ltd. and Juhuiland Co., Ltd., expressed interest in expanding their investments in Cambodia by establishing women's and children's clothing factories.
Mu Hsin Yuan, Chairman of Ju Wang Footwear Co., Ltd. and Juhuiland Co., Ltd., paid a courtesy call on Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet on 6 November 2024 in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China.
During the meeting, the chairman praised Cambodia’s progress across various sectors and expressed confidence in the country’s continued development. He added that the Royal Government of Cambodia has maintained a stable and favourable investment environment for investors.
Mu Hsin Yuan also thanked the Royal Government of Cambodia for its ongoing support of the company’s business operations in Cambodia. He provided an update on the company's progress in the country and expressed interest in expanding its investment by establishing factories to produce women's and children's clothing for export to foreign markets.
For his part, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet congratulated the company on its achievements in Cambodia and underlined that the textile and garment sector is a growing industry. He added that the Royal Government has implemented various policies and incentives to support successful investments, particularly for companies that utilize local raw materials to strengthen the production chain.
The premier also underlined the government’s openness to engaging in dialogue with the private sector to enhance the success of investments in Cambodia.
