Vientiane (FN), Mar. 25 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and Laotian Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone discussed strengthening defence and security cooperation in a bilateral meeting on Monday (Mar. 25) in Vientiane, Lao PDR.

Speaking at the joint press conference with Laotian Prime Minister, Samdech Thipadei stated that “we are committed to strengthening security along the border, especially the communication between the leaders of both Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of Interior."

"In particular, communication and cooperation on existing military cooperation, as well as strengthening the prevention and suppression of transnational crime, especially human and drug trafficking,” the premier added.
