Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 11 – Charge’d Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Japan to Cambodia Taninai Ichitomo expressed his condolences to the family of Chan Oudom, a Cambodian student who was killed in Israel-Hamas violence, according to the Embassy of Japan in Cambodia’s Facebook on 10 October 2023.

“I am saddened by the news of a Cambodian student reported killed during conflict erupted between Israeli and Hamas forces on October 7.

I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family of the victim by loss of their beloved one and pray that the soul of the deceased rest in peace.”
