Pyongyang, Sep. 11 (KCNA) – The DPRK, a great country whose name included "people" at the time of its founding for the first time in the history of the nation spanning 5,000 years and which has vigorously advanced towards a new victory and prosperity, paving a broad avenue for building a rich country with strong army under the noble idea of believing in the people as in Heaven and the unfurled banner of independent politics, self-supporting economy and self-reliant national defence, has greeted its 75th founding anniversary.

A paramilitary parade took place with splendor at Kim Il Sung Square in the capital city of Pyongyang on 8 September to celebrate the 75th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

The respected comrade Kim Jong Un observed the paramilitary parade for celebrating the 75th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

Invited to watch the parade were the Chinese party and government delegation led by Liu Guozhong, vice-premier of the State Council of China, and members of the Russian Army Academic Song and Dance Ensemble Named after Alexandrov who are on a visit to the DPRK to celebrate the 75th birthday of the DPRK, and diplomatic envoys of China and Russia in Pyongyang.
