Moscow, Mar 2 (TASS) – Ukrainian saboteurs opened fire at a moving car in the Bryansk Region, killing a civilian and wounding a child, Regional Governor Alexander Bogomaz said on his Telegram channel on Thursday.
"Today a subversive group infiltrated into the territory of the village of Lyubechane in the Klimovsky district from Ukraine. The saboteurs fired at a moving car, killing one resident and wounding a ten-year-old child," the governor said.
The child has been taken to the hospital and is receiving the required medical assistance, he said.
"The Russian armed forces are carrying out all necessary measures to eliminate the subversive group," the governor said.
The region’s Klimovsky district was attacked by a Ukrainian drone, he said.
"As a result of an explosive dropped from the drone, a residential house in the village of Sushany went on fire. Operational and emergency services are working at the scene," Bogomaz said.
In addition, the village of Lomakovka in the Starodubsky municipality was subjected to the Ukrainian army’s mortar shelling that damaged two houses while no local residents suffered any injuries, the governor said.
