Belgium (FN), Dec. 13 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that there have been a series of arrests in Germany following the coup attempt, adding that this action was no different from his practice to the group who intended to overthrow the government.

The premier spoke in a meeting with nearly 2,000 Cambodians residing in Europe on 12 December 2022.

"Why is democracy country since the aftermath of World War II having the attempted coup d'etat in 2022? Why did Germany arrest these people?" the premier underscored.

Twenty-five people have been arrested in raids across Germany on suspicion of plotting to overthrow the government, according to BBC News.
