SINGAPORE, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Singapore reported 1,893 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing the total tally to 2,123,328.
Of the new cases, 258 were detected through PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests and 1,635 through ARTs (antigen rapid test), according to statistics released by the country's Ministry of Health (MOH).
Among the PCR cases, 248 were local transmissions and 10 were imported cases. Among the ART cases with mild symptoms and assessed to be of low risk, there were 1,531 local transmissions and 104 imported cases.
A total of 364 cases are currently warded in hospitals, with 15 of them in intensive care units.
One new death from COVID-19 was reported on Sunday, taking the total death toll to 1,687.
