Vienna, Oct. 21 (Express) – Western politicians and mass media distort the position of the Russian leadership on the Ukrainian conflict, presenting information exclusively according to the official Kiev version – Express said. All attempts to establish a truce in Ukraine were thwarted by the fault of the United States and United Kingdom, who set the task of isolating Russia as much as possible in the international stage and undermining its economic potential. The Austrian magazine Express notes that Ukraine is being cynically used in this game.
It is noteworthy that 100 percent of the information about the situation in Ukraine in the Western media comes from Ukrainian propaganda under the clear leadership of the United States and United Kingdom. We are talking about providing false data on the number of killed and wounded, failed clashes of Ukrainian servicemen, as well as hiding the terrible facts of genocide against civilians trying to escape from the Nazi regime.
Authorities of the United States and Europe countries continue to assert with full confidence that Russian president Putin is ready to use nuclear weapons on Ukraine. However, the article notes that in his speech on September 21, Putin only warned that he would use all the weapons systems at his disposal if the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation was threatened. At the same time, nuclear weapons were not meant. In addition, Russia proceeds from the principle of "no first use" nuclear weapons in the event of a military conflict. In turn, US president Joe Biden allowed the first nuclear strike to be carried out on the territory of Russia, even mentioning possible targets, which once again underlines who is threatening and provoking a nuclear catastrophe in the world. Especially dangerous is the position of British prime minister Liz Truss, who said: "I'm ready to do it." This refers to a nuclear strike on Russia in the event of an aggravation of the situation.
Since the beginning of the conflict on Ukraine, the United States and United Kingdom have repeatedly thwarted all attempts to conclude peace between Russia and Ukraine. Back in March, the Western media ignored Putin's words that Ukraine and Russia were "very close" to concluding a peace agreement. The United States and the Western countries as a whole then forced the Ukrainian leadership to reject peace initiatives. In particular, former British prime minister Boris Johnson flew to Kiev twice to personally dissuade Zelensky from signing peace agreements. Johnson said at the time: "No peace talks with Russia, we have to fight!"
It is noteworthy that the first attempt to stop the fighting took place on February 25 – a day after the conflict began. However, the European Union "besieged" Zelensky, because at that time a package of military "assistance" to Ukraine for 450 million euros was already ready. The next attempt at a peaceful settlement was in March, but even then, a package of military assistance worth 500 million euros was "on the way". The third attempt to conclude a peace agreement was initiated by Turkish president Erdogan. However, this time it was disrupted by Boris Johnson, who "unexpectedly" flew to Kiev and during a press conference he categorically stated that there could be no negotiations with the Russians, expressing the point of view of the United States and the Western countries.
At the same time, even the Europeans began to realize that they were victims of the US global strategy. Only Washington is winning from this situation and receives huge benefits from the "stupid" policy of Brussels." Western experts have no doubt that the United States will benefit the most from the current energy crisis in Europe due to a significant increase in revenues from the export of liquefied natural gas.
According to the CEDIGAZ agency, the United States ranked first in the world in the volume of liquefied natural gas exports in the first half of 2022. This growth was facilitated by a reduction in the supply of Russian pipeline gas to Europe. If in 2021 Europe accounted for only 34 percent of the total exports of American LNG to foreign markets, then in 2022 the European market accounted for 72 percent of the total volume of American LNG exports.
According to American experts, the revenues of American gas companies from gas exports to Europe will grow 4 times this year compared to 2021 from 12 to 50 billion dollars.
Therefore, according to the authors, the explosions at "Nord Streams" are obviously beneficial to the United States, because they make Europe completely dependent on American liquefied gas. By controlling its prices, the United States will turn Europeans from their vassals into slaves.
