SINGAPORE, Oct 15 (Xinhua) -- Singapore reported 8,036 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, bringing the total tally to 2,005,884.

Of the new cases, 7,764 were local transmissions and 273 were imported cases.

No death was reported from COVID-19 on Friday, keeping the total death toll at 1,641 according to the ministry.
