SINGAPORE, August 27 (Xinhua)- Singapore reported 1,968 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, bringing the total tally to 1,831,332.

Of the new cases, 1,846 were local transmissions and 125 were imported cases.

2death were reported from COVID-19 on Saturday, keeping the total death toll at 1,590 according to the ministry.
