JAKARTA, April 3 (Xinhua) - The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 4,345 within one day to 1,527,524, with the death toll adding by 91 to 41,242, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.

According to the ministry, 5,197 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 1,366,214.

The virus has spread to all the country's 34 provinces.

Specifically, within the past 24 hours, Jakarta recorded 1,098 new cases, Banten 910, West Java 360, Central Java 274 and East Java 230.

No new positive cases were found in two provinces, namely Southeast Sulawesi and North Maluku.
