Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 2 – Cambodia reported 69 new cases of COVID19, while 16 patients recovered on Friday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 2 April 2021 (updated as of 1:00 p.m).
The newly infected patient is a 34-year-old Indonesian man returning from Indonesia through Singapore's flight to Cambodia on 20 March 2021.
The other 68 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are Cambodian, Chinese and Vietnamese nationals from Sihanoukville, Kandal, Svay Rieng and Phnom Penh aged between 11 months old and 76 years old.
To date, Cambodia has confirmed 2546 cases of COVID19 with 1256 recoveries and 16 deaths.
