BANGKOK, March 13 (Xinhua) -- Thailand on Saturday confirmed 78 cases of coronavirus infection, mostly domestic, and one fatality, according to a report of the Center for the COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA).
Of Saturday's new cases, 67 were domestic infections and 11 others referred to imported cases, the CCSA report said.
The domestic cases include 48 in Samut Sakhon and 13 in Bangkok, among other provinces, the report said.
The fatality confirmed on Saturday referred to a 56-year-old Thai female in Samut Sakhon, who had had diabetes and high cholesterol.
Thailand has confirmed a total of 26,757 cases of infection, 23,844 of which were reported as domestic while 2,913 others referred to those who had returned from abroad.
So far, 26,086 patients have fully recovered and been released from hospitals while 585 others are currently hospitalized and 86 fatalities have been reported.
